Review/something fun: Essence Lipglosses

Good Evening beauty-ful people!!

So the story behind how I came across these is a bit different. I went to a local shopping centre (Westfield Carindale for fellow Brisbane people) to actually look at the MAC store but somehow after that ended up in Target and went straight to the cosmetic section. I have never seen this brand before but was intrigued by the pretty colours! Most of the products from this brand "Essence" are very inexpensive and look pretty good quality. I picked up 2 different lip glosses - 1. Essence stay with me long lasting lip gloss in "03 Candy Bar" 2. Essence XXXL Shine Lip gloss in "05 Super Girl". My first opinion of these lip glosses are they are absolutely beautiful colours. The long lasting one isn't very long lasting but it is a very high pigmented lip gloss and looks gorgeous on, but unfortunately you'll have to touch up throughout the day. The XXXL shine is very much that but not like you've got Vaseline on your lips!

They've got a pleasant smell to them and aren't that ridiculous sticky consistency. I bought them for $3.50 each which I think is a great price, especially for the quality of the product. I saw many different colours ranging from reds all the way to clears.

Overall, I would recommend these products if your looking for a beautiful coloured, non sticky, inexpensive lip gloss.

Check them out here www.essence.eu or go to your local Target.

Have a Beauty-ful day!

Review: Makeup and Glow Brush Cleaner!

Well Hello Hello again!!!

So, it doesn't matter who you are, everyone needs a brush cleaner!! If you've got 1 brush or if you've got 101, you need to clean your brushes so that it doesn't spread bacteria etc. When I was looking for a brush cleaner, I went to a Brisbane based Make-up superstore Makeup and Glow. I decided to go the the Makeup and Glow Powder fresh Brush cleaner because well I love Makeup and Glow and I like to support Australian brands and/or products when I can and it said it was safe to fly -woohoo.

I use this product mainly for the spot cleaning between clients etc - and it's very easy to do so. I just use a tissue or a cotton circle, spray a bit of the product on it and then wipe the brush on it and the white tissue or circle will quickly change colour with whatever colour you were using at the time!. So there are 3 different sizes of this product available at Makeup and Glow, 125ml - $8.00, 500ml - $18.00, 1ltr - $28.00. It lasts a long time as well, as a little goes a long way - which I LOVE!.

Definitely check out the beautiful Makeup and Glow, the people at the store are so amazingly informative and lovely - you'll just want to keep on going back just because of their customer service - oh and I suppose the beautiful products make it easy as well - ha ha.

Chi Chi Eye Magic - Eyeshadows made easy!

Well Good Evening everyone!

I know, I know it has a been a little while since my last blog but I am back and ready to do some reviews etc - yaaayy!!!

So tonight, I am going to do a review on something I have known about for years! I bought these beautiful things for me sister, because as much as I try and teach her she doesn't have the natural gift with make-up, and I obviously cannot do her make-up every time she goes out. Chi Chi have definitely made eye makeup easy for everyone here.

The  Chi Chi Eye Magic "instant eye shadows" come in 6 different colours at the moment, according to their website. In a box you get 7 applications. So all you do is take one out of the box, take the plastic protection sleeve off, take one of the white applicators out of the container and line it up on your eye and press down and take it off and vwollahhh your eyes are all done!

Now obviously, depending on the shape of your eye and the end result you want, you may want to take a bit off.. I am personally not a fan of the eyeshadow going really high up (and with my eye shape it does) so I just take my finger and rub a bit off and blend it down but obviously, it is completely up to you what your wanting.

So a box of these are $18.95 on the website, but if you search around - especially at the moment you may be able to get it cheaper.

I personally love this product, especially if your like my sister or if you just don't have time but still want to look fab definitely check these out. They come in everything from a perfect smokey eye to colourful or a more basic eye. Here in Australia you can buy them from Target, Myer and other speciality stores.

Have a Beauty-ful night!!
